Connect To Your Future Spouse Right Now

marriage

When I first had learned about how to connect to my future spouse, I was floored. Like really.

I had learned this specific point from one of my coaches, Br. Mohammad, when he mentioned that is how he connected to his wife before marriage. I wasn't sure what to expect, because Br. Mohammad was one of those brothers that only did things that was 100% halal.

He mentioned, he started making du'a for his wife, before she became his wife. He asked Allah (swt) to protect her and guide her.

As I sat there, listening to him, I was floored.

What a beautiful way of connecting to someone - even before they become your spouse.

After learning about this, I started implementing this in my own life. It doesn't matter if the person I make du'a for ends up becoming my husband or not, because there is so many blessings that come from making du'a for someone. Here are just a few:

1 - Since your making du'a for someone in their absence, the angels will say, "Ameen and the same for you." So you get the du'a of the angels!

2 - No du'a goes unanswered. All du'as we make, Allah (swt) answers in one of three ways:

- Something bad that was coming your way, gets diverted.

- Allah (swt) answers your du'as in this world.

- Allah (swt) answers your du'as in the hereafter.

3 - Du'a is a gift. You choose to remember someone in the presence of the Lord of the Worlds. What better gift, to gift someone in their absence than making du'a for them?

What are your thoughts on making du'a for your future spouse? I would love to hear from you.
